Amy is a 2-3 year old Spaniel/Collie Mix. She is in pretty bad shape at the moment.

Amy was rescued from a high capacity shelter with her 9 puppies. She was extremely underweight, and malnourished.

Amy has many obstacles in her path. Somehow Amy found the strength in her extremely poor condition to keep her puppies alive.

Amy has many hurdles yet to overcome. She is Heartworm Positive, underweight, has an ear infection, mastitis, and a serious skin infection. All of Amy's mentioned ailments are treatable. She has shown a mountain of strength and perseverance, and we are standing behind her with all of our hearts.

We are asking for your support and prayers for Amy in her ongoing medical condition.

Heartworm Treatment: $300
Medication and Medical Care: $100

Update:
6/12/09: Amy's skin condition is cleared up, and her coat is growing out. We have some new video footage of her, which is located below. Amy has put on some more weight, and her mastitis has cleared up. She has gained so much spunk! Her next step after a few more pounds, is her heartworm treatment!

We are accepting applications on Amy now, but do not have an estimated adoption date for her at this time.
