Dixie is a black & white bully mix that doesn't meet a stranger! Dixie was picked up by a southern High-capacity shelter as a stray and heavily pregnant! Thanks to a whole bunch of volunteers that gave their time over the weekend to rush this sweet momma up from the south. After arriving at the rescue, she gave birth to four beautiful puppies not less then 24 hours after reaching her foster home.
Since that time, Dixie has been a sweet, gentle love bug, and full of energy. We feel that Dixie is around 1 to 2 years old. She loves other dogs, and she is good with children of all ages!
Dixie will be spayed before she is placed in a new home, but we are taking applications on Dixie-doodle now!

It is kitten season, and with that Stray Save has a seemingly unending supply of abandoned babies. We also have adults of all shapes and colors!
Our adoption process for dogs consists of an application, homevisit, and an adoption donation. To start your journey to adopting your next best friend, please complete the adoption application located on our Applications for Adoption page.
Our required adoption donation for dogs ranges from $150-$200 depending on the needs of each individual dog. The adoption donation for cats ranges from $45-$75.
